Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality care and education to children, with a strong focus on fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

About the Position

This is a part-time role that offers flexible working hours, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. You will be working in a small, friendly environment where quality care and education are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0-5 years
  • To develop and implement engaging and inclusive learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of children
  • To establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • To contribute to a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes children's physical and emotional well-being
  • To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards)
  • Availability to work shifts between 7am-6pm Monday to Friday
  • A current and valid Working with Children's Check (blue card)
  • Current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
