Technical Project Installation Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical interface support for document preparation and coordination
  • Lead as the technical point of contact for scopes of work within the project
  • Report outcomes of meetings and technical discussions to stakeholders

Key Engineering Activities:

  • Cable burial risk assessment (CBRA) to ensure safe installation practices
  • Route engineering to optimize cable laying processes
  • Burial assessment study (BAS) to determine optimal burial depths
  • Survey works to gather accurate site data
  • Cable installation works to install cables efficiently
  • Pre-sweeping/dredging works to prepare sites for cable installation
  • Mattress installation works to protect cables from damage
  • Rock placement (rock dumping) to stabilize cable routes
  • Trenching works to create safe pathways for cables
  • Cable pull-in at landfall and at offshore substation to ensure reliable connections

Requirements:

  • Autocad software experience is mandatory for efficient project execution;
  • Italian and English proficiency are essential for effective communication with clients;
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degrees in Engineering Technology or related fields are advantageous;
  • Good word processing skills are necessary for report generation;
  • Surveyor background and GIS software experience can be beneficial for advanced analysis tasks.
