Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and support automation frameworks for market announcement platforms and reference data management systems.
  • Contribute to the solution architecture of automation suites, using in-depth technical analysis of functional and non-functional specifications and requirements.
  • Develop, verify, amend, and refactor automation code and scripts, ensuring traceability records exist from automation back to requirements.
  • Apply agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes, contributing to the automation approach for projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in building automation framework/scripts and tools.
  • Experience in structured development processes, performing automated system and system integration testing.
  • Proven experience in automation design based on in-depth technical and requirements analysis.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining automated test code and scripts, running automated tests, and interpreting results.
  • Exposure to automation at UI and API levels, with skills in SOL query writing and basic database knowledge.
  • Ability to work as part of an agile, cross-functional team, with exposure to XML, AVRO, or other message parsing.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with testing micro-services and container-based architectures.
  • Knowledge of messaging protocols such as SWIFT or FIX.
  • Created or contributed to automated test frameworks.
  • Capital Markets industry experience, understanding stocks, derivatives markets, and business processes related to clearing member trades.
