We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our reputation for authenticity and culinary excellence.

• Prepare and cook food to meet dietary requirements and maintain high standards of food hygiene.
• Calculate food and labor costs to ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.
• Maintain high standards of food quality throughout preparation, ensuring each plate meets our culinary excellence standards.
• Order ingredients and optimize inventory to support kitchen operations.
• Rectify arising problems or issues.
• Ensure occupational health and safety standards are maintained and adhered to by kitchen staff.
• Implement proper freezing and preservation techniques to extend the shelf life of ingredients.
• Provide support and assistance where necessary in all areas within the kitchen.
• Ensure the seasoning and garnishing of food is done appropriately and the right portion of food is served to customers.
• Develop new seasonal menus and make changes to existing menus, maintaining minimum overhead costs.
• Educate kitchen staff on hygiene regulations and enforce strict adherence to sanitary practices.
• Oversee kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen activities.

• Certificate IV qualification is desirable.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Friendly, positive, and approachable attitude.
• Well-presented and motivated.
• Able to work unsupervised under pressure.

A competitive salary of AUD $70,000- $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
