Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team in the Southern Fleurieu Community. In this pivotal management position, you will provide support to the Nurse Unit Manager in the leadership of nurses within the community nursing service.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other Nurse Unit Managers. You will contribute to the implementation of practice changes and undertake service management responsibilities, including performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation, and attendance management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in management and leadership roles, with the ability to give supervision to student nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and less experienced Registered Nurses. You will use your effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills to maintain a cohesive multidisciplinary team and resolve local or immediate nursing care problems.
