IT Technologist

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking technical professionals with an NV1 Security Clearance to work on multiple sites nationwide, providing ongoing IT support in a defence environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in documenting and configuring PCs for deployment
- Escalate technical issues to the team lead
- Install and document PC installations and replacements in client spaces
- Support desktop infrastructure and services across multiple technology streams, including hardware, OS, software, networks, servers, print etc.
- Perform asset refresh, relocation deployment, and decommissioning while maintaining data integrity within the CMDB
- Maintain physical infrastructure, including desktop equipment, peripherals, telephony, print devices, audio/visual conferencing equipment
- Adhere to WHS practices, instructions, and policies as set out by our organisation

Requirements:

- Demonstrated technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals, i.e., workstations, desktop PCs, printers, media, and audio-visual equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to the targeted audience
- Customer-centric approach
- Professional customer service skills
- Ability to work well within a team, fostering relationships and partnerships, and exhibiting a can-do attitude
- Experience with end-user technology support is highly advantageous

We require 6+ months experience in a similar role, preferably within the Defence/CIOG space.
