Exciting Opportunity for Students in Control Systems


Are you a student looking to launch your career in a dynamic field? Do you have a passion for control systems and a desire to gain hands-on experience? Look no further

This is an exciting opportunity for students to join our team as a Vacation Student: Control Systems. You will work alongside experienced professionals, participate in tailored mentoring and technical development, role-specific training at our operational mine sites, and opportunities to learn from an international team.

The successful candidate will be based in the Perth office and work on a 5 days on, 2 days off roster. Alternatively, if based on site, they will work an 8 days on and 6 days off 12 hour shift roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems at our operational mine sites
  • Participate in design, development, and testing of new control systems
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure seamless operations


Requirements:
  • Currently in at least your second year or above of your Control & Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering Tertiary Qualification
  • Hold a C Class Manual Driver's License, or the ability to obtain one
  • Able to obtain National Police Clearance
  • Exposure and/or experience in a mining or heavy industry environment would be highly regarded
  • Tech-savvy, a quick learner, and a team player
