We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a permanent full-time position based in Wollongong, NSW.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing responsive user interfaces using React.js and Node.js.

  • Designing and building RESTful APIs and network applications.
  • Acting as a solution architect, contributing to system design, integration, and product scalability.
  • Leading knowledge transfer and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Advising on platform architecture, product design, and technology roadmaps.
  • Conducting research in AI and MedTech, translating outcomes into commercialised products.
  • Ensuring all systems comply with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, AI, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years' professional experience in software engineering, including MedTech and digital health.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, REST APIs, AWS, Firebase.
  • Experience with mobile app development (iOS and Android).
  • Background in AI research leading to commercialised solutions.
  • Experience working in start-up environments, large multinationals, and regional Australia.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and train others.
  • Fluency in English.
