Bupa, a leading international healthcare group, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Delivery - Strategic Programs. As a key member of the Technology HI & BS team, you will be responsible for leading the Technology enablement for the Capability Modernisation Program, ensuring the successful delivery of the program of work while transforming and upgrading foundational systems that underpin Bupa's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Technology enablement for the Capability Modernisation Program, ensuring the successful delivery of the program of work.
  • Nurture the program of work from inception to completion, optimising productivity, improving employee and customer experiences, and delivering a program of work that will set Bupa up for its future.
  • Utilise technical expertise, leadership skills, strategic vision, and change management capabilities to drive program success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional experiences and contribute to a culture of trust, respect, and inclusivity.
Requirements
  • 8 to 10 years' experience in a large-scale program management role, managing medium to large projects (circa $100M - $300M) with high levels of complexity, multiple dependencies, and indirect reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in project status reporting, scheduling, dependency management, and milestone tracking techniques, financial/budget management, and risk management.
  • Proven track record of influencing and negotiating successful outcomes with sponsors, project managers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience running RFPs/RFIs and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior levels and report writing.
  • Experience in Agile project delivery and knowledge of SAFe, DevOps, and SDLC.
  • Able to use and adapt to technology by taking fundamental principles and applying them in a new context.
  • Experience applying Six Sigma or Lean process improvement techniques will be highly regarded.
Qualifications and Training
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Formal project management qualifications from either AIPM or PMI (Mandatory or working towards).
  • Formal Agile project management training.
