Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely dispatch of customer orders with accurate paperwork processing to meet business performance. Your primary focus will be on coordinating daily shipping reports and collaborating with the Customer Service team to resolve any order-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run daily shipping reports to ensure delivery dates are met and coordinate with the Customer Service team for any matters related to orders.
  • Coordinate with Shipping Operators to manage an efficient workflow of products to be picked for local, interstate, and export orders.
  • Complete lodgements and coordinate freight collection after providing required documents for airfreight, sea freight, and local orders.
  • Complete consolidation of consignments and release shipping paperwork in a timely manner for local and interstate deliveries.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to have goods available to be dispatched on time.
  • Organise and complete pallet process (e.g., dockets, online processing, communication of corrections, balancing).
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records and ensure accurate communication to nominated parties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least one year's experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environment.
  • A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, or similar discipline would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong experience using SAP.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with careful attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of regulations and production processes is desirable.
