Mercy Community is seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants in Rockhampton. We are looking to fill Permanent Part-time and Casual roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a friendly and homelike environment for residents, encouraging them to engage in activities of their choice.
- Ensure the safe and appropriate use of equipment, prioritizing resident comfort and safety.
- Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene, including showering, continence, bedding, and clothing.
- Actively monitor residents' condition and report any changes in condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse.
Requirements:
- Studying towards or completed a Certificate III in Individualised Support – Aged Care or a similar qualification related to the health field.
- Able to work across a 7-day roster, supporting a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
