About Unit 1 Dandenong – Adult Mental Health Service
Unit 1 at Monash Health Dandenong is a 25-bed inpatient unit providing care to consumers aged between 25-65 who require short-term inpatient management and treatment during an acute phase of mental illness. The multidisciplinary team works with consumers to provide a range of therapeutic interventions and programs, whilst also working collaboratively with families and carers to provide education and guidance on how to best support consumers during their recovery.

A Day in the Life
As an experienced Mental Health Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day patient care, clinical management, and decision-making in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Part time permanent position available
- 7-day rotating roster across all shifts
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and key team player who is passionate about providing recovery-focused patient-centered care to consumers during an acute or severe phase of mental illness. You will possess:
- Demonstration of appropriate competencies and skills as per the relevant Enrolled Nurse Classification
- Patient-centered approach to your provision of care and work towards making a positive difference, in line with the Monash Health iCARE values
- Ability to communicate and work well within a team environment and demonstrate openness to change and innovation within the workplace
What You Need
- Demonstrated Nursing experience, in an Acute Inpatient Unit
- Current Australian AHPRA nursing registration
- Ability to live and work in Victoria (Australia) without restriction, including ability to obtain all necessary police clearances and a Working with Children Check
