About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Masonry Labourer to join our team at McNab Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in assisting our experienced bricklayers and masons with various tasks, including laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry units under guidance and according to plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Prepare foundations for masonry work, ensuring proper alignment and levelling.
  • Operate hand and power tools and hire equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a masonry labourer or assistant.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and confident individual with a strong attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport, as travel is required throughout the region.
  • Construction White Card or the ability to obtain.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
