Exceptional Care Leader

About Our RoleThis is a full-time position, working 38 hours a week during term time, where you will be involved in administration and in-service hours. During school holidays, you will work 9am-5:06pm, focusing on in-service hours. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for co-leading, training, and guiding staff to deliver the highest quality care for every child in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Plan and prepare child-focused programs for school-aged children in a specialist school setting.
- Care Provision: Contribute to ensuring high-quality care through compliance, including the Quality Improvement Plan.
- Staff Supervision: Co-lead, train, and guide staff to maintain a safe environment for all children, families, and staff.
- Child-Focused Approach: Provide children with opportunities to explore, learn, and play in a fun and engaging way.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to sector regulations, including obtaining an Employee Working with Children Check or VIT card.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Be actively working towards and have completed 50% or have completed an ACECQA-approved Diploma level qualification.
- Experience: Possess experience in the early childhood, OSHC, and/or disability support sectors.
- Skills: Demonstrate high attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage behavioural issues effectively.
