Building Inspection Team Lead

This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a team of experienced building inspectors. As a key member of our organization, you will provide technical leadership, compliance oversight, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead and grow a team of 15+ inspectors with strong technical expertise
- Conduct or support complex inspections as needed, applying knowledge of engineering principles to real-world scenarios
- Develop and deliver internal training and onboarding programs for inspectors, promoting their professional growth and development
- Evaluate and improve quality assurance systems, standard operating procedures, and compliance documentation
- Provide guidance on technical queries, disputes, and high-stakes reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic initiatives and service quality improvements
A Structural Engineer or Senior Building Inspector with a degree or diploma qualification is highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of the NCC, WA Guide to Standards & Tolerances, and AS 4349.

- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in growing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions
- Highly organized and detail-focused, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
