Job Title: Software Development Expert

We are seeking an experienced software development expert to join our team. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of object-oriented programming, software development lifecycle, algorithms and data structures, test-driven development, peer programming, and reading and writing technical schematics in industry standard notation.

The role involves participating and collaborating in a high-performing SCRUM team to deliver on key business-as-usual activities and milestones from the project roadmap and the data science and analytics strategy. Key responsibilities include demonstrating excellent judgment skills at interpreting business requirements, estimating workloads, prioritizing tasks, and managing time in the delivery of quality solutions to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will draw on their experience and deep knowledge of programming across multiple interpreted and compiled programming languages to develop strongly-typed, self-documenting code and libraries. A thorough understanding of DevSecOps, MLOps, and DataOps release pipelines is also essential for success in this role.

Required skills and qualifications include four or more years of experience in software engineering with proven experience developing enterprise solutions involving multiple development teams. A degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent IT work experience is also required. Experience working with project management and developing delivery plans is highly desirable.
