Job Opportunity: Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to manage our finance activities. This role involves overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, closing monthly and yearly financial accounts, invoicing, and managing debtor processes.

  • Responsibilities include preparing statutory compliance reports, including PAYG, FBT, BAS, Payroll Tax, and EoFY reporting.
  • Additional responsibilities include providing accurate financial data to guide strategic decision-making, liaison with external Bookkeeper & Accountant, and improving existing processes.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial accounting role.
  • CPA/CA Qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of taxation law and employment taxes.
  • High degree of competency using Xero, MS Excel, and MS Office suite.
  • Professional Services experience preferred.
  • Experience using WorkflowMax, job management software, an advantage.
  • Confidence communicating with management, staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
