Job Overview
This role is primarily responsible for managing inventory, performing warehouse functions, and adhering to inventory management processes. The successful candidate will be accountable for the end-to-end control of Cubic assets, assisting with inventory management processes, and ensuring all equipment is properly handled and accounted for.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, track quantities, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor equipment and consumables usage and replenish when required
- Deliver and pick up customer equipment returns and other items as directed
- Process field returns from customers and install teams
- Accurate Data Entry in Service Now for Inventory Controls
- Ensure all parts are received in Service Now by Cubic Technicians before leaving Cubic Warehouse
- Prepare Bus Installation kits as requested
- Process Decommissioned Assets in a timely manner
- Conduct Cubic vehicle audits, checks, and stock takes as per Cubic's processes
- Process repairs and returns
- Assist with annual audit & monthly assets reconciliation report and distribution to customer
- Perform daily cycle count, process workshop returns, and create Contract IDs in Service Now
- Escalate issues in day-to-day operations for resolution
- Maintain a sound knowledge of WH&S and take an active part in safety issues as required

Requirements
- New South Wales Class C driver's license
- Relevant experience within a stores/warehouse environment (Grade 1: may have less than 12 months experience, Grade 2: must have at least 12 months experience)
- Knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) system
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite and experience in the usage any other inventory management system.

- Excellent customer service, communication skills, and ability to develop working relationships with customers and suppliers
- Strong verbal and communication skills and ability to escalate issues to resolution
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Capable in analysing information and preparing written reports
- Attention to detail and willingness to listen to feedback
- Ability to use initiative and work with limited direction
- Able to adapt quickly to demands and environment
- Demonstrated understanding of manual handling requirements
