Job Description:

This is a 9-month contract position based in Brisbane, ideal for recent graduates looking to gain further experience. As a Safety Reporting Analyst, you'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and drive improvement in our safety performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyse safety data to identify trends and contributing factors.
  • Develop systems and processes to support ongoing safety and fatigue data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide high-level data analysis and recommendations for business requirements and how Information systems can improve outcomes for safety data analysis.
  • Analyse methods and alternative models for presenting risk and safety data and initiate action to solve problems and improve existing systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience or working knowledge using data analysis tools including Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
  • A proven ability to research and present data from both familiar and new sources.
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make good decisions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of airline or Fatigue Management systems would be an advantage.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a similar relevant field would be advantageous.
