Scientific Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an internationally renowned scientist to lead our scientific strategy and immune-therapeutic oncology platform as a Chief Scientific Officer.

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating a full laboratory team in CAR-cell technology techniques; ensuring the science team achieves optimum strategic outcomes relating to product development and pipeline progression; anticipating potential issues that may interfere with project outcomes; supervising the total science program from tissue selection to iPSC derivation; and developing and implementing gene editing methods for genetic engineering of somatic cells.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership position in cell therapies or clinical immunology and a PhD or MD-PhD in molecular or cell biology, immunology or oncology. You will play a key role in shaping innovative products for the international clinical marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing and coordinating a full laboratory team in CAR-cell technology techniques;
  • Ensuring the science team achieves optimum strategic outcomes relating to product development and pipeline progression;
  • Anticipating potential issues that may interfere with project outcomes;
  • Supervising the total science program from tissue selection to iPSC derivation;
  • Developing and implementing gene editing methods for genetic engineering of somatic cells.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership position in cell therapies, clinical immunology or innate immunity;
  • Experience running successful research groups and ensuring an innovative environment;
  • PhD or MD-PhD in molecular or cell biology, immunology or oncology;
  • Experience preparing board and executive documents, and papers for publication;
  • Experience presenting at international conferences and keynote speaking engagements;
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in molecular cell biology and immunology of cancer with a track record in peer-reviewed findings and publications.
