Early Childhood Education Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Education teacher to fill this challenging role. The successful applicant will create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that enables high-quality, rigorous play-based learning and developmentally appropriate explicit instruction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a positive school culture that promotes student success and well-being by fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs through effective curriculum design and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement to inform teaching practice and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration as per regulatory requirements.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before commencing employment.
  • Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before commencing employment.
Desirable Qualities:
  • Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model and its application in educational settings is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and iPads in a learning environment is also desirable.
