The Logistics division supports customers throughout Australia, with over 2,500 employees nationwide. As a leading national manufacturing brand with a rich history, Borg Manufacturing continues to invest in advanced technology, providing opportunities for career growth and development.
The national fleet consists of over 300 trucks ranging from HR to MC vehicles. Transport activities include local and interstate movements, transporting products throughout the country. Vehicles are serviced and maintained in-house workshops.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver internal training programs
- Conduct on-site training sessions with new and existing employees
- Evaluate employee performance and ensure compliance with company standards
- Maintain current industry knowledge and skills for various vehicle types
This position is based at the Somersby facility but requires frequent travel to other sites as needed. Large depots are also located at St Marys and Oberon.
About You:- Hold a current MC licence and possess extensive driving experience (Volvo experience advantageous)
- Possess formal qualifications in training and assessment
- Demonstrate strong understanding of mass management and fatigue management rules
- Show expertise in Workplace Health and Safety legislation
- Excel in verbal and written communication, time management, and organisational skills
As part of the selection process, applicants must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, including functional, audiometric, drug, and alcohol testing.
