Academic Position in Economics

We are seeking a distinguished economist to lead research and teaching initiatives at our institution.

Qualifications and Experience
  • PhD in Economics or a related field, with a strong track record of research excellence and sustained publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • A proven history of securing major research funding as lead investigator, with a focus on innovative projects and methodologies
  • Exceptional teaching skills, with experience in curriculum development and delivery at the University level

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate adaptability and resilience, and exhibit a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver engaging lectures and tutorials, incorporating real-world examples and case studies
  2. Develop and maintain high-quality educational materials, including syllabi, assessments, and supporting resources
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives, promoting cross-disciplinary learning and collaboration
  4. Contribute to School governance and decision-making processes, providing expert advice and guidance on strategic priorities and initiatives
