Urgent Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinarian to join our Small Animal Primary Care team in Emergency and Urgent Care at the University of Queensland's Gatton Campus.
Job Overview:This is a full-time permanent position that presents an exciting opportunity for skilled veterinarians or recent graduates to grow their skills and expertise while delivering exceptional patient care and teaching.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage cases presenting to the primary care service, including routine and urgent/emergency cases
- Contribute to the emergency and urgent care service, covering day, weekend, and after-hours shifts
- Engage in clinical teaching and instruction for undergraduate veterinary science students
- Provide clinical training and mentorship to small animal interns and junior clinicians
- Collaborate closely with specialists and experienced clinicians across various disciplines to deliver exceptional care and expertise to patients and clients
