About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in delivering Allied Health support in the community. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with participants to develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence and participation in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload and provide therapeutic services to participants
  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote independence and participation in daily activities
  • Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment to assist participants with their functional limitations
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
