Procurement Strategy Leader

Our organization is seeking a strategic Procurement Manager to drive technology procurement strategy and supplier relationships. This role will ensure effective supplier management, aligning with the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the CTO and their teams to develop a commercially focused approach to meet the company's Technology Strategy
  • Establish and maintain robust procurement frameworks and processes, ensuring strategic suppliers meet performance objectives
  • Negotiate effective commercial supply partners across software, SaaS and IT Professional Services
  • Work across functions to ensure current and future Technology needs are met
  • Identify market leaders and suppliers that best meet company goals
  • Lead the Technology Procurement Function partnering with the CTO and key stakeholders; provide procurement expertise and guidance to stakeholders and other team members
  • Drive best practice procurement methodologies including IT supplier governance and quarterly business reviews that are outcome-focused
  • Manage commercial risk register and lead the management and escalation of issues
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, ideally in Tech or Finance industries
  • Experience managing IT suppliers with flagship suppliers being highly regarded (e.g. AWS)
  • Ability to manage complex contract negotiations across diverse categories in Technology
  • Solid knowledge of the evolving technology space with a curious mindset to support the evolving tech landscape and provide insights to the Technology Leadership Team
  • Strategic mindset to ensure key suppliers support the company's long term objectives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
