Senior Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Civil Infrastructure Services team. This role offers new challenges, working in a vertically integrated business with existing teams supporting success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Civil Infrastructure Projects through all phases from Tendering to Finalisation and develop new business opportunities from inception to operation.
  • Provide ongoing management and leadership to the team, developing and recruiting staff for successful implementation of the NQ civil infrastructure department.
  • Assist in plant and equipment selection and procurement.
  • Complete commercial and financial monthly cost reviews, ensuring forecasted costs are accurately completed across all projects.
  • Report and analyse subcontractor spend on our projects, understanding opportunities.
  • Drive a safety-first approach across the department in line with Fulton Hogan's Culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A highly enthusiastic and energetic industry professional with demonstrated ability in managing Civil Infrastructure projects, including TMR and Council projects.
  • Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction practices and principals.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen and excellent people leadership skills.
  • Adept at building sound relationships, managing clients and stakeholders' expectations and taking ownership and problem-solving.
  • Strong understanding of costings, budgets, forecasting, subcontractor management, estimating and cost control.
  • Ability to drive positive outcomes, fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
