About the Role


The Senior Occupational Therapist works within a multidisciplinary team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, collaborating with clinicians, patients, families, and carers to support patients safely at home and avoid hospital admission.


This role provides formal supervision and is responsible for supervising rotating Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists working in the inpatient palliative care caseload of RPA Hospital.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinicians to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
  • Provide formal supervision to junior occupational therapists
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy
