About the Job:
We are recruiting an experienced transaction advisory professional to join our team in London. This role involves leading financial due diligence engagements for various clients, including private equity firms, corporate clients, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial due diligence projects, managing and executing tasks to deliver high-quality results.
- Client engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their strategic objectives and providing recommendations that support informed decision-making.
- Team management: Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality work and development of technical skills.
- Report preparation: Prepare and present comprehensive due diligence reports, highlighting key financial risks, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, and other factors impacting the transaction.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with advisory teams, such as tax, legal, and valuation specialists, to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
- Business development: Participate in business development initiatives, including client pitches, proposal preparation, and networking events.
- Market and sector insights: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes in the UK and European deal markets.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years in financial due diligence, transaction services, or related advisory work, preferably within a Big Four or top-tier professional services firm.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret financial data, identify key issues, proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluency in English; additional European language skills advantageous.
