About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Auxiliary Firefighters. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of people and property across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency incidents and provide fire and rescue services
  • Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and improve skills
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment
  • Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of station facilities
  • Communicate effectively with QFES personnel and the general community
Requirements
  • Eligible to apply for, or hold a current Blue Card
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
