Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to support the interface between our Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

In this role, you will work closely with consumers and carers to ensure they have access to and can participate in the NDIS.

You will be responsible for proactively engaging and supporting consumers and carers throughout the NDIS access, planning, plan implementation and review processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of children, young people and their families/carers.

About the Role
  • You will have relevant registration or experience in disability and the NDIA, or lived experience with the NDIA.
  • You will have experience working in the human services sector, such as mental health, disability, child services, allied health, social work, community development or education.
  • You will have post-secondary qualifications in welfare work.

You will also need to complete a valid Victorian Working with Children Check, undergo a background check, and require Australian working rights. A current Victorian Driver Licence is essential.
