About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Sustainability Expert to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with clients to deliver engagements around carbon footprint, sustainability reporting, and decarbonisation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and analyse carbon footprints for clients, including boundary setting and basis of preparation.
  • Develop and implement decarbonisation strategies, including target setting and gap analysis.
  • Prepare voluntary and mandatory sustainability reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS S1 and IFRS 2.
  • Advise clients on value-creating sustainable solutions, leveraging your expertise in ESG strategy and materiality.
  • Execute advisory services, including ESG strategy, roadmap development, and transformation.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders and clients to ensure objectives are met and risks are mitigated.
About You

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Expert with a strong background in carbon accounting and ESG. Your skills and attributes include:

  • CA or CPA qualification or relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
  • Sound experience working in an accounting or assurance role.
  • Demonstrable experience in ESG/sustainability, including reporting frameworks and executing solutions for clients.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in consulting and project management, particularly in transformation, strategy, and business operations.
  • Strong research and presentation capabilities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
