We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Standards Training Coordinator to join our team at Alliance Airlines. As a key member of our Flight Standards department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the administrative control of our Training Management System (TMS) and maintaining meticulous management of aircrew training and checking records in accordance with CASA regulations and our rigorous internal standards.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Control of TMS: Oversee the administrative control of the TMS, ensuring accurate and timely management of aircrew training and checking records.
- Development and Maintenance of TMS Grading: Develop and maintain TMS grading sheets, optimizing reporting frameworks to ensure effective management of trainers/trainees and enhancements to our training programs.
- Crew Record Keeping: Develop and maintain crew record keeping within the TMS, ensuring individual aircrew training and checking records are maintained as required by CASA and the Training and Checking Manual.
- Aircrew Training and Checking Records: Maintain aircrew training and checking records, ensuring compliance with CASA regulations and our internal standards.
- Collaboration with Flight Standards Team: Work closely with the Flight Standards Team to ensure TMS grading sheets are developed as appropriate.
- Reporting Framework: Develop and enhance the reporting framework of the TMS to allow for effective management of trainers/trainees and enhancements to our training programs.
- Qualifications and Approvals: Monitor qualifications and approvals of instructors conducting approved CASR Part 142 activities, ensuring they hold the necessary qualifications. Coordinate with Rostering for the renewal of any such qualification.
- Compliance and Adherence: Adhere to Company policies, procedures, Operations Manual requirements, and all CASA/Alliance Airlines compliance requirements.
- Qualifications: Must have experience in one of the following: previous experience working in a training rostering position, previous experience as a Training/Check Captain or TRI, or previous experience working in a Flight Standards department.
- Australian Passport or Right to Work: Must have a current Australian Passport or the right to permanently work in Australia.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Flight Training and Checking programs, in-depth knowledge of the Alliance Airlines Training and Checking Manual, high-level communication skills, demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team-focused environment, demonstrated ability to work under pressure, initiative, strong analytical and reasoning skills, attention to detail, experience in databases, and well-developed computing skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite of programs.
