Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of NDIS and HCP clients, developing strategies and treatment plans to support patients in overcoming their challenges, and providing advice on technical equipment that may support the patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support patients in achieving their goals
  • Assess the patient's environment to identify areas for modification and improvement
  • Teach patients exercises and strategies to apply in their daily lives
  • Liaise with other treating professionals to discuss patient progress and develop comprehensive care plans
  • Provide expert advice on technical equipment and assistive technologies to support patients
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Valid qualification as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, registered with AHPRA
  • 3-5 years of experience working in the NDIS and/or HCP
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reports, including Functional Capacity Assessments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and interventions, with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
