Locum Occupational Therapist

Job Summary

Talent Quarter is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a locum position. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services in acute and sub-acute care settings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver Occupational Therapy Services: Provide occupational therapy services to patients in acute and sub-acute care settings, focusing on their physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
2. Manage Caseload Effectively: Manage a diverse and mixed caseload, prioritizing tasks and allocating time efficiently to meet the needs of patients.
3. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
4. Work Autonomously: Work independently with confidence, making decisions and taking initiative to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Requirements

1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with full AHPRA registration and no restrictions.
2. Experience: Proven experience in acute and sub-acute inpatient settings, with a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
3. Cultural Awareness: Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to work effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
4. Certifications: National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months) and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
5. License: Valid Driver's License.
