About the Role

The Community Services Directorate (CSD) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead the Homelessness Services team. As the Director, you will be responsible for the provision and management of public housing services, homelessness services, community housing, housing policy, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective programs and services to address homelessness and housing needs in the Territory.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and service providers.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and policy developments in homelessness and housing services.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in program development, service design, project management, and evaluation.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, including influencing and negotiation.
  • Ability to develop and use relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Knowledge of homelessness and housing services, including policy and legislation.
