We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in Sydney.
About Us
- We provide port solutions and logistics services with bulk and general handling facilities in over 40 Australian, New Zealand and South East Asian ports.
- We manage 25 sites for the forestry industry in Australia and New Zealand.
- We lead the market in providing purpose-designed solutions for our customers, handling containers, bulk, automotive and general cargo.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Forklift (1.8 Tonne and 2.5 tonne Counter Balance).
- Forklift Driving may be performed in R&D (Receivals and Deliveries) and during vessel operations (on the wharf).
- Operate plant and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOP's) or as directed by management.
- Follow all company policies including, but not limited to, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Forklift operator - must have current high risk forklift licence.
- Knowledge and experience of Manual handling techniques.
- Previous experience on a Forklift (Minimum 12 Months).
- Ability to drive in confined spaces.
- Ability to follow instructions in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work in a team and work autonomously.
- Proven reliability - we need team players who can 100% commit to the role.
- Place safety as a top priority.
- Pass a pre-employment medical.
- Pass a pre-employment (and during employment) Drug & Alcohol Test.
