Warehouse Team Member Job Description

The Warehouse Team Member plays a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing warehouse environment.

  • Key responsibilities include stocking and straightening merchandise to ensure high product levels and easy accessibility for members.
  • Cleaning and clearing aisles, assisting members with loading large items into their carts and providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Communicating with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plans and priorities, and writing lists of products to be brought from the steel for stocking.

In addition to these tasks, the Warehouse Team Member will:

  • Use manual pallet jacks to move and position pallets of merchandise, stacking product from partial pallets to full pallets.
  • Cut boxes for display accessibility using a box knife and wrap or tie pallets to be returned to the steel.
  • Marks product numbers on unmarked items using a marking gun and observes correct product signage.

Excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, and a professional demeanor towards others are essential qualities for this role. The ideal candidate should also be able to adapt positively to changes in direction or assignment and perform tasks assigned by supervisors as needed.
