Delivering Mental Health Services Across Northern Queensland
About the Role- This is a unique opportunity to expand your skillset as a mental health professional working with diverse clients, including children, adults, older persons, and individuals with drug and alcohol issues.
- The role offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time work, as well as Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) opportunities from Townsville or Cairns.
We are a not-for-profit organisation providing culturally competent community-based and outreach healthcare services to over 50 communities throughout remote and rural Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services to clients across Northern Queensland.
- Travel to various culturally diverse communities across Northern Queensland regions.
- Establish and maintain respectful and trusting relationships with individuals, teams, staff, and the community.
We are seeking dedicated professionals with:
- Current registration with AHPRA and AASW (if applicable).
- High-level communication and negotiation skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
This role offers an excellent starting salary ranging from $76,000 to $97,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
