The Employee Relations Manager will provide subject matter expertise and governance for workplace relations commitments and requirements, effectively managing relationships between the business and its employees that align to our ING strategy.

This role is critical in mitigating and managing risk and supporting compliance across related employment topics. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement relevant workplace relations initiatives, resources, and best practice programs.

The Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for customized content creation, ongoing design and management of domain-specific programs, and delivery of projects to meet current and future needs.

In this role, you'll lead the way in providing technical expertise for employment legislation and regulation, workplace disputes, grievances, and negotiations. You'll also advise on the impact of legislative changes on ING's employment instruments, policy, and process.

You'll ensure employment contracts comply with legal requirements and are aligned with the enterprise agreement. Additionally, you'll coach, train, and support senior leaders and people managers to increase understanding and enable proactive resolution of ER matters.

With extensive experience in providing expert technical and specialized ER/IR advice, including drafting relevant documentation, you'll be able to navigate challenging situations to bring participants to an outcome. You'll also engage and manage external experts, including legal advisors.
