Located in the southern metropolitan area of Adelaide, Mental Health Services is a Division of the Southern Adelaide LHN, providing a range of inpatient and community mental health services to the population.
About the Position:
The Consultant Psychiatrist – Perinatal will provide specialist advice and care to obstetric inpatients and to pre-and post-natal outpatients in Adelaide's south.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing perinatal clinical services in the Division of Mental Health SAHS.
- Providing a consultation-liaison service to inpatients and outpatients.
- Teaching to staff of this Division.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive clinical experience relevant to work in adult psychiatric practice.
- Clinical ability in the specialty of perinatal psychiatry.
- Ability to work within and provide leadership for a multidisciplinary team.
What We Offer:
- A total indicative remuneration package of $365,675 - $619,041 MD02 (pro rata) | 0.4FTE.
- A contract available until March 2026.
