**The Role**
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our accounts payable function. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising one Accounts Payable Officer and providing guidance and support as needed
- Processing high-volume accounts payable transactions, including maintenance of the accounts payable inbox
- Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring accurate and timely payment
- Managing EFT and credit card payment runs, as well as credit card reconciliations
- Ensuring accurate recording of GST and other taxes
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Providing regular cash flow reporting and analysis to support business decision-making
- Performing ad-hoc tasks as required to support the accounting team
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years of experience in accounts payable, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- A positive and outgoing attitude, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the growth and success of the organization
