**Opportunity Overview:**

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill APS4 Policy Analyst positions within a Federal Government Agency.

The Analytics, Data and Actuarial Division (ADA) provides data-driven solutions, analytics, and actuarial services across the organisation.

As an APS4 Policy Analyst, you will be part of a project-based team supporting policy analysis and recommendations.

  • Analyse and interpret legislation, policies, reports, strategies, and program/project plans.
  • Conduct research to inform policy design.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop materials for briefings, reports, and executive-level meetings.
  • Prepare presentations and meeting materials.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Experience in interdisciplinary contexts.
  • Understanding of current policy trends and debates relevant to social policy in Australia.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conceptual and analytical skills, with ability to synthesise information.
  • Stakeholder relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant social sciences qualification may be advantageous.
