Trades Assistant Role

This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge across multiple processes within our well-equipped ISO9001 workshop.

The Trades Assistant will be hands-on in preparing equipment, operating forklifts and overhead cranes, organizing and preparing items for dispatch, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

You'll assist tradespeople with day-to-day tasks including basic tool handling, equipment checks, and general workshop duties. This role offers an excellent chance to build practical skills and learn directly from experienced tradespeople.

We have multiple shift possibilities available dependent on suitability to positions available.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment is highly desirable.
  • You must be able to work autonomously with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude to safety is crucial for this role.
  • A strong work ethic is required to succeed in this position.
