About The Role

A Branch Manager at the manufacturing facility plays a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a diverse team of skilled professionals, overseeing the core operations of truss and frame production, and ensuring peak efficiency and adherence to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, including distribution, manufacturing, customer service, financial management, human resources, administration, and sales.
  • Drive initiatives to increase operational efficiencies, integrating new technologies into production processes and ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategic plans to achieve budgets, targets, company objectives, and enhance the customer experience through improved product quality and service.
  • Proactively manage and consistently exceed delivery schedules, maintain transparent communications with clients, and uphold the company's commitment to reliability and trust.
  • Oversee stock inventory, monthly P&L reporting, and annual forecasting, and explore new business opportunities.
  • Drive a high-performing team through effective leadership, coaching, and training to ensure all expectations are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedures and further enhance the commitment to a strong WHS culture.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager role within manufacturing/engineering.
  • A strong operational background with an understanding of the residential construction process or the supply chain process.
  • Passion for sales and exceeding customer expectations, in order to maximize the profitability of the branch.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of up to 30 members.
  • You must be highly organized, with strengths in planning, excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize, along with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in effective negotiation and influencing skills, and be commercially astute.
