Job ResponsibilitiesAs part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team, you will provide meaningful care to people across regional Queensland, including children, families, and adults who may not otherwise have access to specialist health services. Your work will include:
- Conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based therapy for communication and swallowing disorders
- Supporting clients with developmental delays, disabilities, and acquired conditions
- Implementing early childhood intervention strategies with a family-centred approach
- Collaborating with other health professionals to provide holistic, community-based care
Whether you're based in Mount Isa, Townsville, or Longreach, you'll make a lasting impact in rural and remote communities.
RequirementsWe are searching for passionate, driven graduates who are ready to take the leap and build a career that matters. To be successful, you will need:
- A degree in Speech Pathology (recent graduate or near completion)
- Eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel within regional areas
- Willingness to obtain a QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and compassion
- A genuine desire to contribute to rural and remote healthcare
