About the Role

We are currently looking for a junior level Tailings/Geotechnical Engineer to join our Melbourne team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering services to clients.

Your key responsibilities will include interpreting results from laboratory testing, preparing summary reports and working under the guidance of senior specialists on screening level and detailed design analyses.

You will also undertake design assessments, including tailings beach modelling, water balance and stability and seepage analyses, as well as collaborating with other professionals in the office and working on field assignments under supervision.

About You
  • You should have a degree in Engineering with either Geotechnical or Civil specialisations.
  • You must have experience working within the mining, civil or geotechnical industries, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and slope stability programs (e.g., GeoStudio and/or RocScience) required.

Excellent communication and reporting skills are essential for this role.
