Clinical Psychologist Opportunity

As a clinical psychologist, you will have the chance to develop and extend your clinical expertise in a supportive team environment. You will work under various service pathways, including the NDIS and private sector, providing evidence-based psychological practice using therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT & DBT.

Our team offers a full range of psychological assessments, including mental health, IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, decision-making capacity, autism and ADHD assessments. You will have the opportunity to receive training to develop your skills in this area and administer assessments to applicable clients.

You will work in our clinic with a multidiscipline team of practitioners or across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools within your community.

This includes the ability to work from home, allocate clients close to your home, give ownership of your own calendar, provide suburban office locations with free onsite parking, and offer part time or reduced hours.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
  • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA
  • For Registrar Program: Ability to become registered with AHPRA in a Registrar program – e.g., clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
  • For endorsed positions: registration with AHPRA with endorsement in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
