Quantitative Research Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Research Lead to drive our investment team forward. The successful candidate will spearhead quantitative research on existing and new strategies, and oversee the day-to-day management of domestic and global portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative quant research projects to enhance existing strategies and create new ones
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of systematic equity portfolios with high returns and low risk
  • Design and develop quantitative investment processes and infrastructure
  • Provide in-depth expertise in systematic strategies, portfolio construction and trade execution
  • Ensure compliance with all portfolio guidelines and processes
  • Monitor and report on investments, including performance vs risk/return expectations and necessary modifications
  • Provide quantitative research and thought leadership for the systematic equities team, including factor-specific research and simulation work

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as a quant analyst with a strong track record of success
  • Proven ability to lead quant research projects and develop new strategies
  • Excellent knowledge of equity markets and advanced quantitative modelling techniques
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R or similar languages
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a high-performing investment team
