The Role

The Business Analyst contributes to effective financial and operational decision making by developing and maintaining informative and timely reporting models.

The role is instrumental in interpreting and communicating business trends and results, supporting forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to gather and share information and findings.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Prioritize initiatives and ensure solutions align with business requirements.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders to produce meaningful reports.
  • Manage treasury, including rolling-month cash flow forecasting and foreign exchange derivative management.
  • Benchmark financial and non-financial ratios to publicly listed competitors.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Economics, Business, Mathematics, or Finance, or equivalent field.
  • Background in finance and/or relevant certifications in Business Analysis essential.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling with a strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret reports.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office, Power BI, internet-based applications.
  • Experience with SAP desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
